Youth Group trip
We took 24 teenagers out for an afternoon at Locked in a Room where they had to group up and compete against time to solve clues to escape! We also took them for dessert after at Kaspas.
The youth group focusses on young people aged 12-18 years old who have been bereaved of a parent or sibling, giving them opportunities to build on friendships formed at the regular groups.
Teenagers find it hard to communicate their feelings so it’s important that we give them the right environment and opportunity to share their experiences and emotions. Making friends with others who are grieving enables them to do this as well as just knowing that they’re not alone can really make a difference.
