Rainbow Group - November 2018
On Monday 26th November we had Our last Rainbow Group session of the year, and the busiest yet! We welcomed 53 children of which 7 were recently registered.
The group provides a safe place for bereaved children to meet others who have an understanding of the feelings associated with grief and provides an opportunity for them to build friendships, while taking part in a range of activities. This months activities were Christmas themed and included glass painting for the youth group, and paint printing and stained glass baubles for the younger children.
There was also the usual games of football and pool, and a lovingly prepared buffet dinner.
As usual, books and resources are available for families to take home, and all newly registered children receive individually prepared memory boxes.
